Why Dunfermline? Check out our little video over to the right. We are creating a powerful vision for one of Scotland’s newest cities. Television and film production companies want to expand on recent growth of filming and production activity in Scotland, whilst seeking novel, more cost-effective alternatives to locations and premises in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Citizens and businesses of Dunfermline are seeking to establish a coherent vision for the City which provides wide-ranging opportunity for both external investment and community benefit, and which embraces the many diverse strengths Dunfermline offers.
And the Dunfermline Regeneration Trust has a longstanding aim to redevelop the former cinema on East Port as a community cinema and Media City HQ and hub; in addition, its overarching aims are to support regeneration of Dunfermline’s built environment and enhance the wellbeing of its citizens.
